Chelsea Shannon, MSN, FNP-BC, CNOR is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Premier Primary Care in Union City, Tennessee.
Chelsea holds a Master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University where she graduated with honors. Chelsea also has additional certifications in perioperative nursing and surgical first assisting and still practices in this field part time. She is ACLS, PALS, and BLS certified as well.
Chelsea strives to provide compassionate and integrative care to each patient that she treats. She was born and raised in Obion County and considers it a great honor to be able to give back and serve such a wonderful community. Chelsea has gained experience in multiple specialties during her time as a nurse and loves that family practice allows her to establish and maintain trusting relationships with her patients. She truly believes that healthcare should be individualized and that including patients in the decision-making process will only better their experience and outcomes. It is her goal to improve the health, wellness, and overall quality of life of each of her patients.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their three dogs. She loves to read, hike and be outdoors. Her true passion is participating in medical mission trips. She is always looking for her next opportunity to bring accessible and sustainable healthcare to those in need.
