Brenda Dexter, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Premier Primary Care in Union City, Tennessee. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team.
Brenda graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, and finally her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.
As a practicing professional, Brenda specializes in providing family-centered health care to patients of all ages. She spent time working as a certified nursing assistant in nursing homes and in-home health care environments. Brenda has over two decades of nursing experience and education in various areas of patient care, including health promotion, disease prevention, and the diagnosis and management of various common and complex health care issues.
Her approach to care is highlighted by a steadfast belief in prioritizing long-lasting and trusting relationships with patients. Brenda seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking ample time to listen and understand their unique set of needs. She always aspires to deliver a positive healing experience.
Brenda holds membership in the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society of Nursing and the Gamma Beta Phi scholastic honor society. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
